When the Baldwin School of Puerto Rico needed a clean and contemporary 2’ x 2’ model for fundraising, the architects at Alvarez-Diaz & Villalon turned to Model Maker Studio. This model uses laser cut plexiglass for the site and 3d printing for the building and is built strong for safe transportation to various events. Some of highlighted features are roof top solar panels, Kalwall glazing system with painted mullions and translucent rice paper shaded windows, perforated metal panels, and balcony and stair grating railings all of which require very fine detail. The architects loved the model so much, they ordered a second one for themselves.
